Welcome

We are the Freedom Community Alliance and we have been working in North Devon since 2008. Through that time we have helped hundreds of people find stable and secure homes, work towards brighter futures, beat their addiction and decrease their feelings of isolation and hopelessness.

Freedom Community Alliance

We operate an open access Day Centre and supported housing accommodation in Barnstaple, North Devon, working in close partnership with the local authority and other organisations

  • Reception and Telephones:

    • Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm

    • Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm

    Open Access Day Centre:

    • Monday to Thursday 11.30am - 1.30pm

    (Outside of these hours, other activities are taking place, including pre booked appoints for support. If you need help or support, please call us on 01271 321171 and we will either help over the phone or arrange a time for you to come in.)

    Other organisations based within the Freedom Centre may have different working hours to the above.

Homelessness is closer than you think!

For many, homelessness is not something we think about on a regular basis. Most of us go through our day to day lives with little exposure to the severity of poverty in our area. However, the reality of homelessness and its prominence in society is far closer than you may realise… and sadly it’s a growing concern.
