Who are we?
Rooted in Christian values, we believe every person has dignity and worth. That's why we welcome absolutely everyone — whatever your faith, background, ethnicity, or identity. No exceptions.
We are a ‘needs led’ organisation; recognising a need that is not being met for the vulnerable in our community and doing our best to fill the gap. This involves working with a range of service users including homeless people, those suffering from addiction issues, people with poor physical and mental health, debt and poverty and those who simply want to improve their health or improve their life skills.
Why we do what we do
At the heart of Freedom, is the core belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. We are called to love all people and to act with compassion towards everyone, regardless of who they are. This drives everything we do and is the bedrock of our work.
Our heart is to walk with individuals towards a brighter, more hopeful future.
Our Approach
We believe collaboration is key to our success, with a multi-disciplinary team hosted in our open-plan office, because we believe that we achieve so much more together than separately. Professionals from different services work side by side to offer seamless wraparound support, including Local Authority Housing and Welfare teams, a full-time Inclusion Health Nurse and a weekly GP clinic (in a fully equipped on-site clinic room), Together Drug and Alcohol Services, Community Safety, Police and Probation Officers.
