At Freedom Community Alliance, our work is varied and needs led – where we see a gap in supporting the vulnerable in our community, we work to find solutions and build ways to ‘mind the gap’.
There are many ways you can support what we do and help build a stronger and more resilient community right here in North Devon – volunteering time and skills, donating money for our numerous projects, shopping at our social enterprise eBay store and donating food and goods to give to the vulnerable people we work with or stock our kitchen.
Providing and funding quality responses to real human issues are not always easy, and donations of all kinds are gratefully received.
Numerous studies have proven giving is good for you. Be it financial donations, volunteering time or fundraising for a cause you believe in, people who help others through community and organisational involvement have greater self-esteem, lower depression and stress levels; they live longer and are happier – giving releases endorphins in our brains. So giving really is good for you!
